  • Where does CohoMotion Charters fish?

    We fish the Lake Ontario area, including Lake Ontario.

  • What are the target fish?

    Target fish include Coho Salmon  (Also Called Hooknose, Silver Salmon, Silvers  ), Chinook Salmon (Also Called King Salmon, Quinnat Salmon, Spring Salmon, Tyee Salmon, Kippered Salmon)

  • Where in Lake Ontario to we meet our guests?

    We meet at Cohomotion Charters ( 6615 Lake Bluff Rd, North Rose, NY 14516, USA )

  • Do I need a STATE Fishing license?

    Yes, a Fishing license is required

  • How much should I Tip?

    It is customary to tip 20% of the trip total. We work tirelessly to make sure you have a guest experience!

  • Do I need to bring my own gear?

    No, we provide standard gear such as rods and reels so you don’t need to worry about anything. But please feel free to bring you own gear if you prefer.



  • What items should I bring?

    • NYS Fishing License
    • Rain gear
    • Non-skid, non-marking shoes
    • Camera
    • Sunglasses, Sunscreen & Hats
    • Snacks & Drinks
    • Wear Weather-Appropriate Clothing
  • Do CohoMotion Charters charge a deposit?

    A deposit is required for all bookings and will be applied at checkout.

  • When do I pay the remaining balance?

    The remaining balance is due on the trip date as either Credit or Cash. 

  • What is CohoMotion's cancellation policy?

    GUEST CANCELLATION: In the event that you must cancel your booking, you must do so 14 days prior to your trip date to receive a refund on your deposit. Rescheduling is encouraged and dependent on guide availability.


    GUIDE CANCELLATION: In the rare event that your guide must cancel due to inclement weather, health, or equipment issues, you will have the option to reschedule your charter for a later date or receive a refund on your deposit.
